Anderson has motorhomes on the mind after traversing over 2,000 miles in a 40 foot RV with his family. It's time to look back at last year's resolutions to see how we did and to make 5 new promises, well one of us has 5 new ones. Four new movies are flickfessed and it all happens in a backyard.

Something happens in the first segment of the show that causes Anderson (me) to become terribly distracted moving forward. Bryan and Anderson were traveling last week so airports were on their minds. Turns out there are a lot of great scenes that take place in those godforsaken spots. 

The first 32 minutes of this one are all new with an explanation at the top about the classic episode followed by a lengthy Red Light/Green Light with Diana van de Kamp. It's all downhill after this as the show gives way to something that hasn't aired since December, 2010. While there is a new Amazon read within the classic audio, the rest is very dated if not entertaining in a horrible car wreck kind of way. 

The end is inevitable and all great things must come to an end, we don't love it, but it's a stark reality. Bryan and Anderson celebrate this treacherous truth this week with the top 5 greatest finalities of performances. The updated Lion King, the Korean "Se7en" and the unsettling At the Heart of Gold documentary are also discussed. 

This time around we're doing those V.O.s from live action films, not narration, but characters that use voice actors to represent the actor that's playing them or the CGI renderings that's representing them.

A large number of movies are based on books and it's about time that The Film Vault tackles such a massive category. With Anderson reading again and Bryan being the literary scholar that he is, the time is now to list the best films made from books that we've read. 

To complete last week's list we've sat down and taken a look at the fake rock stars in film history. The world would be a better place if most of these were real.Help us get to 1,000 Patreon Members so we can hire a real producer.

Many times they're told in Biopic form, other times it's the whole band that is covered and sometimes they're just in the background, not even in focus, but actual depictions of "Rock Stars" show up on the silver screen enough to be worthy of a solid 5 to 1 list.

Some movie lines linger and haunt us for years and in some cases they can last in perpetuity. Bryan and Anderson list the movie quotes that have found a home in their heads and have become part of their own daily lexicon.

Cinema changes with the culture and some even argue that movies change culture. Either way, somethings that were considered fine, "normal" and or funny back then are just not acceptable today. Bryan and Anderson look back at some of the things in film that have not aged well.

Disguises come into play in many a movie. Some are odd, others are impressive while some just don't add up. Bryan and Anderson add up their favorites on this week's episode.

We've all seen them before, we recognize their faces and refer to them as "that guy" or "that girl" from that thing. But every so often these character actors land a fat role and they make the most of their opportunity and in doing so they shine. Here, Bryan and Anderson list their favorite lead characters played by character actors. 

The heated and often misdirected Film Vault examination and anticipation of the upcoming summer film docket is upon us. Bryan and Anderson pinpoint the films they're most jacked about seeing this summer season. 

10 Years ago next week, Bryan was diagnosed with brain cancer. Back then  he suggested we do Top 5 Feel Good Films, a brief reprieve for such a dark time. Here we are, 10 years later and Bryan is still kicking, sniffing and waxing poetic. This week we update that list we did all those years ago.

Last week the men were covered, this week it's the ladies time to shine as one trick ponies. They may do that one note very well, but that's pretty much all they do.

There are all sorts of crying scenes in films, sometimes they make us cry, other times they're played for laughs. Bryan and Anderson rank their favorite male crying scenes in this week's Film Vault. Two spoiler discussions came out of this episode as well, one for Dragged Across Concrete and another for Us. Look for those in the Patreon feed. 

Good Soundtracks are plentiful, but what happens when the movie it's associated with is no good? Ambivalence is what. Anderson and Bryan search high and low for the movies that they didn't much care for, but were searching for the soundtrack before the last credit had rolled.

The Film Vault tapes in front of a live studio audience for only the 2nd time in their 10+ year career. The show takes place at the Devil's Brewing Company in San Carlos, Ca. Beers were poured, things were said and the Top 5 Bay Area Films were ranked. This great event was a reminder that this needs to happen way more often!
